Technical Services Division is one of the prime departments of the MMG that has been providing technical construction services to the industry since the 1950’s. However the division was formally set up as a separate entity in late 90s to meet the requirements of the local industrial manufacturers and started serving direct clients in the field of specialized services. In 2005 Technical Service Division entered into the field of maintenance and since then has successfully completed several maintenance and T/A jobs for Saudi Aramco, SABIC, Saudi Chevron and others. In the past three years the Technical Services Division has successfully completed projects worth SR75 million.
Services
The division provides services in the area of Engineering, Plant Shut down and Maintenance, Scafolding, Specialized Services, Plant Modification and Revamping and Electrical, Instrumentation and Control System.
In Engineering, the Technical Services Division collaborates with Jedson of the United States. In specialized Services, the division collaborates with Dutch company, Lion and render services in the area of chemical cleaning, oil flushing, cold cutting, bolt torque and tensioning, pressure testing and pipeline scrapping.
Under Maintenance the division undertakes complete project management, static equipment maintenance, rotary equipment management, structural piping and all fabrication work and hydro-jetting services.
In Electrical, Instrumentation and Control System, Technical Services Division in collaboration with Pakistan’s UEC specializes in revamping of the projects, control system installation, local instruments and panel, instrument cabling and wiring fire and gas detection system, grounding and lightning system, optimized material selection and testing and Commissioning.

MMG is a ISO 9001: 2008 certified group. In addition it possesses several ASME certifications that include ASME “P” for fabrication and assembly of pressure piping; ASME “U” for manufacture of pressure vessels; ASME “S” for manufacture and assembly of power boilers; ASME “A” for assembly of power boilers; and ASME “R” for Repair and Alterations of pressure vessels and boilers.
